Hello Folks!
Rockaway Beach Autism Families is back with our 3rd ANNUAL END-OF-SUMMER BACK-TO-SCHOOL BBQ FUN-DAY! FUNDRAISER Sunday, August 27th, 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Bayswater Park (701 Bay 32nd Street Far Rockaway, NY 11691)!

This year, we’re making it an all-day FUN-day with a plethora of activities including potato bag, egg and spoon, and ice cream cone relay races, water balloon games, life-sized Jenga, ring toss, corn hole, sensory table, arts & crafts, face painting with our artist in residence, William Hernandez, and dancing.

Also, Bay 84th Street Community Garden "Helping Hands" will be collaborating with RBAF on the event. The more, the merrier!

Every child goes home with a back-to-school gift chockfull of autism-centric back-to-school supplies! Plus, medals for all the races.

Regarding the food—-feel free to take out or dine in!
$20 plate/ take-out box includes entree + two sides and a drink.

Hamburgers/ Veggie Burgers
Hot Dogs
Chicken Fingers
SIDES
Rice and beans
Potato salad
Pasta salad
Green salad
Steamed cabbage
Roasted Corn
French Fries
Cod Fish Fritters (Bacalao)
and more, including desserts!

Note that the event is free for everyone! We are just offsetting expenses associated with the event with the BBQ tickets. For families in financial need, the food will be free. Everyone is welcome to come have fun in a safe, nonjudgemental environment with families and their special needs loved ones.
